The balantia app provides detailed information about the calories and nutrients of both the foods and meals you log, as well as your overall daily diet.
Each entry automatically updates the calories and nutrients, both at the food and meal level and in the overall daily overview, plus how much you have left to reach your daily targets.
What info can I see for each food?On every food screen, you can scroll horizontally to the left to see detailed stats like:
calories
fat & saturated fat
carbs & sugars
fiber
protein
sodium
cholesterol
Next to each nutrient you see:
the content for the amount you've selected (column Nutrition Facts)
the remaining daily recommendation (column Remaining), based on your goals
This way, you can see if a food fits your needs and make more informed choices.
Meal and day analysisThe option “Meal Analysis”, found in the three dots next to the meal name (e.g. Breakfast, Lunch), lets you see the composition of each meal separately.
The option “Analysis”, at the bottom of the overview screen (tab bar), gives you the total picture of your daily intake.
This way, you can track your diet precisely and make any adjustments needed to effectively support your goals.
