How can I see more details about my meals?

Meal analysis

balantia lets you view detailed nutritional information for every meal you log, helping you better understand its nutritional composition.

How to view your meal analysis

On the “Log” screen, tap the meal name (e.g., Breakfast or Lunch). This opens “Meal Analysis”, where you can see a detailed breakdown of the meal's calories and nutrients.

If you're using “Timeline” view, tap the corresponding time entry.

What information can you see?

In “Meal Analysis”, you can view:

  • Macronutrient distribution: A pie chart showing the percentage of the meal's calories that come from protein, carbohydrates, and fat.

  • Nutrient breakdown: Information about fat, saturated fat, carbohydrates, sugars, sodium, protein, and fiber.

  • Show All Nutrients: A complete nutritional breakdown of the meal, including calories, vitamins, minerals, and trace elements.

What else can you do?

From “Meal Analysis”, you can also:

  • Copy the entire meal to another day, without having to log each food again.

  • Save the meal to “My Meals”, so you can easily find and log it again whenever you like.

Want to see your overall nutrition?

On the “Log” screen, tap the macronutrient bars to open “Nutrition Analytics”. There, you can track your nutrient intake against your daily targets and limits for a single day or over longer periods (7, 15, 30, or 60 days).

This helps you better understand what you eat and make more informed food choices based on your personal goals.
