Yes, you can change your goals at any time to adjust your nutrition plan to your needs and priorities.
Where to change your goals
On the “More” screen, select “Goals”.
What can you change?
Weight goals
Goal type: Choose whether you want to lose, maintain, or gain weight.
Current weight: Update your weight. The new value is automatically saved to your weight history.
Target weight: Set the weight you want to reach. If it's outside the healthy range for you, the app will display a relevant notice.
Weight change rate: Choose Slow, Moderate, Normal, Fast, or Very Fast.
Nutrition plan
Diet plan: Choose Balanced, Low Fat, Low Carb, or Keto.
Protein level: Choose Basic, Moderate, or High.
Calorie Distribution: Select the days when you want to eat more calories, with your calorie targets adjusted accordingly on the remaining days.
Custom Calorie Goal: Set your own daily calorie target instead of using the one calculated by the app.
Daily goals
Water goal: Adjust your daily water intake target.
Step goal: Set the number of steps you want to achieve each day.
What happens when you change a goal?
Some changes also affect other nutrition targets, keeping your plan aligned with your preferences.
For example, when you change your goal type, target weight, or weight change rate, balantia automatically recalculates your daily calorie target and macronutrient targets.
“Custom Calorie Goal” and “Calorie Distribution” cannot be active at the same time. If you enable one while the other is active, the app will ask for your confirmation before disabling the currently active feature.
This way, balantia gives you the flexibility to adjust your goals and nutrition plan as your needs change.
